Genesis EQQ Stainless Steel Square Edge Trims are square edged profiles made from high quality stainless steel. This stainless steel profile should be chosen where high levels of hygiene are sought, such as around pools and spas, food processing areas, breweries, dairies and hospitals. The trims have smooth and non-porous surfaces, making it especially difficult for the adhesion and survival of bacteria and other micro-organisms.
Genesis EQQ Stainless Steel Square Edge profiles offer superb resistance to chemical and atmospheric stresses and are particularly recommended to protect steps in both external and internal applications.
The trims come in two stainless steel grades; Grade 304 (1.4301) as standard, with a heavier duty 316 grade option available in most sizes too! These trims come in 2.5 metre long lengths and can be cut to size.
Where appropriate, trims are supplied with transparent protective film offering added protection during transport, storage and installation.

- Select EQQ according to tile thickness.
- Trowel tile adhesive over the area that forms the perimeter of the tiled covering.
- Press the perforated anchoring leg of the EQQ, into the tile adhesive and align, mechanical fix if required
- Trowel additional adhesive over the perforated anchoring leg to ensure full coverage.
- Solidly embed the tiles so that the tiled surface is flush with the top of the profile (the profile should not be higher than the tiled surface, but rather up to approx. 1mm lower).
- Fill the joint completely with grout.
Delivery Options
Genesis EQQ trims protectors are delivered direct from the manufacturer. Because they comes in 2.5 metre lengths, there is an automatic £15.99 long length standard delivery charge. These trims are then despatched by the manufacturer on a 1 - 2 day service.
