The Genesis MLT Light Duty PVC Movement Joint is a movement joint suited to use in domestic and commercial areas with light traffic. These movement joints come in 2.5 metre lengths in a range of thicknesses and colours. This Slimline joint appears to be no more than a groutline, whilst absorbing compressions and expasnions of the tiling around it.
PVC as a material is resistant to most chemicals it may come into contact with in tiling scenarios.
The Genesis MLT is made with a with a highly durable blend of PVC and Rubber infilling, to offer protection to the edge of the floor covering. Whilst classed as light duty, it is suitable for for pedestrian and light mechanical traffic, such as shopping trolleys etc.British Standard BS 5385 recommends that a Joint should be able to absorb 20% of the width of the Joint in movement accommodation; these Joints far surpass the minimum requirement.
Genesis MLT Light Duty PVC Movement Joints are also suited for exterior use, e.g. on facades or balconies.
Delivery Options
Genesis MLT are delivered direct from the manufacturer. Because they comes in 2.5 metre lengths, there is an automatic £15.99 long length standard delivery charge. These joints are then despatched by the manufacturer on a 1 - 2 day service.
