Lithofin Rust-Ex Non-Acidic Rust Stain Remover is a trusted cleaning agent from the Lithofin brand that removes rust stains and discolouration from tiles, natural stone, concrete surfaces and engineered stone. It can be used on spots, as well as on sensitive material like limestone and marble. The reactive compounds in Lithofin Rust-Ex work on the rust and transform it into water soluble particles. The reaction becomes visible through a purple discolouration and the resulting particles can be rinsed off with water. Lithofin Rust-EX does not change the appearance of the surface and can therefore be used on single stains.
Lithofin Rust-Ex is a mildly alkaline cleaner for removing rust stains and metal oxide residues caused by iron containing fertilisers, metal garden furniture or leaking heating systems. It can be used on ceramic, porcelain, marble, limestone, granite, concrete and artificial stone. Rust-Ex contains reactive compounds that work on the rust and transform it into water soluble particles, which is visible through purple discolouration. It is strong enough to remove rust stains but does not change the appearance of the surface and can therefore be used on single stains. Coverage is up to 10m per litre.
