Blue is definitely the interior colour of the moment, with some experts even going to far as to say it's the new black. After months of varying shades of grey dominating our feeds we have to admit we're glad to see something a bit different.
Although it might be in fashion at the moment, blue has always been a popular choice when it comes to interior design. The colour is obviously reminiscent of both the sky and the sea, invoking feelings of open space and freedom. It's also closely associated with the feelings of calm, serenity, trust and loyalty, so it's no surprise we want to surround ourselves with it in our homes.
Whether you're looking for a deep navy shade or a bright turquoise, we have a fantastic range of blue tiles to choose from - here are a few of our favourites.
Matt finish blue metro tiles
We're kicking this list off with a new range; Vogue is an on-trend narrow metro tile with a modern matt finish. These tiles also have a distressed look which gives them a cool vintage look. The blue shade differs slightly on each tile which adds some depth to the tiled surface. These tiles are made of strong porcelain, which means they can be used on both walls and floors.
Blue patterned tiles
The Design range is available in 8 different patterns, with quite a few of them featuring blue hues. These 20x20cm tiles are made of strong porcelain, so they can be used on walls or floors in kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, hallways and even porches or around fireplaces. Reminiscent of traditional encaustic tiles but with a modern twist, using these patterned tiles is a great way to add a bit of personality to your home.
Heritage glossy blue metro tiles
Heritage is a new range but we can already tell it's going to be popular. There are two shades of blue within the range; Marine which is an ashy grey-blue and the deep Ink Blue shade. These tiles have a slightly rustic texture with a glossy finish, perfect for splashbacks or showers.
Floral blue patterned tiles
Love the look of classic wallpaper designs? The Flow range is inspired by beautiful blue floral wallpaper, but can be used in areas that might get wet such as showers or behind sinks.
Vintage blue metro tiles
The Vintage range is one of our top sellers, and in particular this beautiful blue shade. Another narrow metro tile, but with a bold colour and distressed effect finish that gives these tiles their name. These tiles can be laid in a classic brick bond pattern, as seen below, or in an on-trend herringbone formation.
Split face stone effect tiles
Looking for something a little different? The Cascade range is designed to look like split face stone, with subtle blue and grey hues. These tiles look fantastic when used to create a feature wall, but can also be used to add a natural feel to splashbacks or bathrooms.
Siam Tiffany Blue metro tiles
Siam is another blue metro tile, but these have a slightly more turquoise colouring. These tiles really add a bright pop of colour to walls, without making the space feel too dark.
Kyoto pastel aqua blue tiles
The Kyoto range has a soft pastel colour scheme, with a glossy finish that helps reflect light and make spaces feel larger. The Aqua blue shade is perfect for adding a subtle splash of colour to bathrooms or kitchens.
Ash blue wall tiles
Last but not least we have the Bronte range, another of our best sellers. These tiles have a slightly bumpy textured surface which gives them a handmade look, with a glossy finish. The Ash Blue shade is a light, almost pastel, colour that looks fantastic when paired with another colour from the range like white or ivory.
