Mapei Adesilex P9 is a High-performance cementitious tile adhesive famous for having no vertical slip and extended open time, ideal for working with for ceramic tiles and stone materials. Adesilex can be used for the tnterior and exterior bonding of ceramic tiles and mosaics, it can be used on floors, walls and even ceilings. This tile adhesive is also suitable for spot bonding of insulating materials such as expanded polystyrene, rock and glass wool, Eraclit® (wood cement panels), sound-deadening panels, etc.
Mapei Adesilex comes in either white or grey, and is supplied in 20kg bags from Tile Fix Direct. This is a standard setting tile adhesive, and can be grouted in 4 - 8 hours on walls, and 24 hours on floors. It can be used internally and externally, making Mapei Adesilex the ideal solution for projects inside your home and outdoors too.

Application Example:
Bonding ceramic tiles and mosaics on the following suirtable substrates
- Conventional renders or cementitious mortar walls.
- Interior aerated concrete block walls.
- Gypsum or anhydrite after having first applied Primer G.
- Gypsum board.
- Underfloor heating installations.
- Cementitious screeds, as long as they are sufficiently cured and dry.
- Interior painted walls, as long as the paint is firmly anchored and resistant to alkalis.
- Tile on tile of existing flooring with tiles up to 300 x 300mm.
- Bonding small format tiles in swimming pools and basins.
