The Self Adhesive Reinforcing Tape Roll from Marmox is used to strengthen the joints between tile backer boards. It's handy self adhesive surface means you don't have to add an adhesive to the area to get the tape to stick down. Simply apply the tape to all tile backer boards and scrim with tile adhesive. If the boards are butted together with a bead of silicone sealant before using the reinforcing tape and scrim, the joints will be waterproof.
This 50mm wide self adhesive glass fibre mesh scrim tape from the trusted Marmox brand helps to prevent any movement, and should be used to cover all the joints where Marmox multiboards or other tile backer boards meet. As a general rule you should always allow 2m of self adhesive reinforcing tape per standard size tile backer board (600mm x 1250mm) and 4m per long tile backer board (2400mm x 600mm).
